Protect Your Eyes From the Snow

With all this great rain and snow falling in California, don't forget to protect your eyes. Even on a cloudy snow day, there is a lot of UV light getting through the clouds. Especially when you are traveling to high altitudes, the UV transmission is even higher.  

The term snow blindness is refers to damage to the cornea that causes to pain and redness as well as decreased vision due to the irregularity caused in the corneal structure. High wrap sunglasses, or prescription goggles are both a great way to cut exposure while enjoying all of our wonderful precipitation.
