Midtown Optometry donates 5% of profits annually to Rainforest Trust, supporting the protection of threatened habitats, wildlife, and tropical forests.
We donate 5% of profits annually to Rainforest Trust. Supporting healthy habitats is part of how we care for the world beyond our exam rooms.
What Rainforest Trust does
Rainforest Trust is a conservation nonprofit that helps protect threatened tropical and subtropical habitats. It works with local conservation organizations, Indigenous Peoples, and communities to create and expand protected and conserved areas.
Its projects use approaches suited to each place: purchasing land for conservation, helping establish legally protected areas, and supporting Indigenous and traditional land rights. These efforts aim to keep important habitats intact for the species and people who depend on them.
Protecting wildlife, forests, and communities
Habitat loss threatens species with extinction. Protecting forests and other ecosystems gives wildlife space to survive and helps keep carbon stored in vegetation and soil. Rainforest Trust supports conservation led by people with knowledge of the land and a stake in its future.
We donate 5% of profits annually to Rainforest Trust. We support its focus on lasting habitat protection alongside our local beach cleanups, contact-lens recycling, and volunteer eye clinics.
